  • Establish an e-mail account with yahoo.com; hotmail.com or gmail.com to maintain anonymity and ease of account deletion if necessary.
  • Don't open mail that you don't recognize the sender's e-mail.
  • Install filters to directly divert mail with keywords in the subject line or body.
  • Don't open an attachment from an unknown source.
  • How to handle SPAM?
    • don't open it
    • don't forward it
