HOSTS

WHERE will you upload your files to in order for the world (and your students) to see your created web pages?

The first thing to find out is, if your school or disctrict provides you with space on their server to host your web site files. If they do not, you have several choices.

  • One would be to find a service that provides you with space for "free". In return they usually put advertisement on your page.
  • A second choice would be to pay a monthly or yearly fee to a host. Some of them will provide you with web design tools, such as templates and easy uploading of your files, while others provide you with just the space on their server.
