TUTORIALS > Vocabulary Review

Students will be able to self- check if they knew the meaning of the vocabulary word by draggin their mouse over the empty cell next to the word.

Here is how you do it:
  1. Create a vocabulary list to be placed on your website
  2. Find and upload corresponding clipart for your vocabulary words to your hosting server. Note the address where illustrations are located. Ex. http://www.langwitches.org/images/clipart/run.gif
  3. On your webpage, insert a 2 column table.

Either create a border for the table and/or enter a value for the cell spacing or
Give the second colums a different cell background.

    run
    perro

  5. Time to insert a Pop-Up Window Javascript. You can google for all different kinds of pop-up javascripts online. One of the script generators, that you just have to copy and paste into your website code is Popup Window Maker . Just enter the URL address of where your clipart is located (Ex. http://www.langwitches.org/images/clipart/run.gif ) click on generate code and copy the code into your HTML code.
